A Big Thank You to Our Axent Wear Cast & Crew

The obligatory Axent Wear family photo taken on August 17, 2014 at The Producer's Loft in San Francisco.

I still can't believe that the Axent Wear shoot is wrapped last weekend. It's been months in the making since I came in contact with Axent Wear's founders, Victoria Hu and Wenqing Yan, in which I drafted an unforgettable treatment to best represent their new headphones.

After dropping off my 8:45a crew after the shoot, I drove home in silence to just reflect on the past two days of shooting. I'm just amazed by everything that just went down and I have an amazing crew as usual but the best cast to date to thank for:

Jennilee Gomez: You were our main talent for this and am real stoked to have got you on board. You were the lucky one to don the headphones as I haven't even wore the headphones for a selfie =P But seriously, great work on the dance floor and for being able to take my input and direction. Just remember to wink and smile at the same time ;)

Xavier Berkley: If I only knew how to dance like you, I'd be giving everyone a shocker on the dance floor by flexing my arms in so many different ways that is just.. not normal. hahah Thank you.

Jin Kim: I need to surprise people randomly by just popping up from below them haha Thank you for providing the fake out in our dance scene--it's gonna be amazing.

Natalie Kirkland: Fun fact: I took jazz/ballet in high school but that doesn't mean I cannot do that many pirouettes as I only took it during summer. You killed it on your segment--thank you for bringing that flair.

Sean Amador: Why are you tall. You're Filipino. haha I kid! Thank you man for being the anchor on the dance scene to tie everything together.

Our Extras: Thank you for everyone who came through to be part of this video. I really appreciate your time on those two days and support for Victoria and Wenqing. I hope all had fun and made this experience [whether it be your first film production or not] a memorable one.

And on to my thank you's to the crew:

Phuong Le, Choreographer: First off, this whole dance scene wouldn't have gone smoothly if it wasn't for you. So I tip my imaginary hat to you my friend for really being synced with me on the grand vision. Thank you for keeping the energy on a continuous high. It was magic.

Marlon Torres, Director of Photography: It's more impressive to me that you wear jackets on all our shoots than your work. hahah I kid--you're seriously on point all the time when we work together. Thank you for skills and expertise.

Ernie Simpson, Grip: Knowledgable as hell man. Thank you for your work with me and Marlon as everything on camera looked beautiful. I'm impressed but would've been more impressed if you had the disco ball as we could've filmed a "Rock With You" remake of Michael Jackon with that fog :)

Patrick Maclan, BTS Photographer: Thank you for being on set on short notice to capture some BTS photos. I'm very looking forward for us to working together in the near future. And sorry for potentially embarrassing you by showing my crew your awesome music video :)

Lorenzo Pace, BTS Videographer: Thank you for taking video behind the scenes and interviews of folks on set. Looking forward to the future.

Melissa Capistrano, Makeup Artist: Thank you for being present to help our lead talent look beautiful as possible and for being calm and collected. And you're right: being closer to the set is best as you were on point to powder down our talents between takes. :)

Nicole Velazco, BTS Photographer: Always glad to have you on set to help take photos. Always great to have our laughs on the ride to and fro from our productions.

Angela SultaniAssistant Director/Production Assistant/2nd AC/Food Services/Fog Machine Finder: You just do it all. haha :) Thank you for being a big hand on set–seriously. You saved me many times so thank you for that and as mentioned, the best person to be slating in the industry :)

Hubert Lamela, BTS Videographer/Editor: Thank you for being able to come in and take some video. I'll be thanking you more later when you get this all cut and polished :) Thanks for providing your input and feedback too during the shoot so we can ensure we got our shots.

Jane Park, Casting Director and Stylist: Amazed on how you're always able to pull it all off :) From finding our large cast, to our amazing choreographer, and of course the wardrobe that you went through to find the diamond. Simply awesome.

Last but not least, I want to thank Victoria and Wenqing for trusting me and 8:45a to bring this concept to life. We still got a lot to do now in post production but am really glad that you trusted in me and brought me on board. This video that is gonna accompany your campaign is gonna be a. maze. ing :D

While I want to share some BTS photos, we'll wait a bit. But no sweat, for now, enjoy these GIFs I produced (and shot by Nicole) during film day:

Shadows can surely dance. At least Jennilee's shadow can.

Me taking a "photo". Angela is making fun of me because she knew that this was staged. Whatever, I wanted a GIF of mine.

Once again, THANK YOU again to everyone. I will surely give everyone here updates once we the video is done :)
